UNEP Technology Support and Capacity Building Database (TS and CB)

BSP Database Survey

This database is developed in response to the request by Governments 1 in the Bali Strategic Plan for Technology Support and Capacity Building (BSP) for UNEP to make available and easily accessible, a comprehensive database of its TS and CB activities.

In line with the BSP, the database contains searchable information on UNEP TS and CB projects at the global, regional and country levels. The projects are grouped according to the cross-cutting and thematic areas listed in the BSP. Other features of the database include partners with whom UNEP works, as well as the duration of projects.

The user will also find useful links on technology support and capacity building resources and sites.

To search for projects use the search box at the top of the screen or the Advanced Project Search in the navigation to select certain criteria.

1 The Bali Strategic Plan for Technology Support and Capacity Building (BSP) was adopted by the UNEP Governing Council in February 2005. It is an intergovernmentally agreed approach for strengthening capacities of developing countries and countries with economies in transition to meet their priorities and obligations in achieving environmental sustainability. The BSP also endeavours, among other things, to promote transparency and accountability in the assistance provided by/ through UNEP.
